WBUL 1620am - The University of South Florida's Student Radio Station

This is sustainability week at USF. many departments are promoting sustainability initiatives and advances in technology, highlighting a way to live with less negative impact on the environment.

Tree plantings, urban transit luncheons and recycled art exhibitions inform students and the community on sustainability issues, but it is unclear if these events translate into a net reduction in human environmental impact when the events are over and the University goes on with its business.

Dr. Hanna-West is teaches graduate programs in the USF college of business and is exide distinguished lecturer in the ethics of sustainability. She said the best way to actuate a greener USF is to get the administration's commitment to sustainability.
