Queens native Styles P is back on the scene. With singles with the Lox like Money, Power, Respect and I Get High, Styles P has found many ways to stay in the game and to remain current. It wasn't until mid 2005 that Styles P resurfaced on the Mariah Carey hit remix We Belong Together. His third solo album, entitled Super Gangster, Extraordinary Gentlemen, is set to come out December 4th. His first single off the album is Blow Ya Mind. It features the likes of notorious producer Swizz Beatz and is a tight track with a cool hook. I haven't heard the entire album yet, but with a plethora of mega producers (The Alchemist, Kid Capri, Pete Rock, and Green Lantern to name a few) it should not disappoint. In a recent online interview with ArtOfRhyme.com, Styles P said "You should expect fire as always, more fire. It has a street hip-hop 90's vibe with real lyrics. Some of the content is like songs called All I Know Is Pain and Holiday. Expect a lot of soulful, street, dark Hip Hop. Deep thinking and enlightened. Expect lyrics f***ing galore man.
